If You're Stuck Inside, Get to Work!

Has the COVID-19 outbreak hit your business hard and forced you to close up shop? There are several things you can and should be doing while your doors are shut.

Audit Your Social Media Channels.

People are stuck inside with nothing to do, so you can bet they will be on social media more than ever. Make sure your pages are putting on a good face for your business! Are your profile and banner images up to date and looking fresh? Has it been too long since you made a post? Update your "About" sections and profile descriptions to best reflect your business to all the new eyes roaming social media while they are hunkered down at home.

Think of Creative Ways To Keep Business Moving.

Is there a new way you can offer your business online or as a take out service? This could look like a piano instructor giving lessons over Facebook video messenger. Or a local boutique creating a Facebook shop to sell their goods online. If you're an arts and crafts store, why not put together a kit so people can take and create at home! Get creative and utilize social media to get the word out that you're still in business in a new and innovative way!

Create Content!

You no longer have the excuse that you don't have time. Get cracking on your blog, vlog, or other great ideas you've had for your social media channels. Create something that will entertain, inform, or engage with the public during this downtime. If you can, you will start to build a fanbase that will reward you once things start to return to normal.

Keep Your Fans Updated.

The situation with the Coronavirus outbreak is changing day by day. Keep your fans updated through social media as to how it's affecting your business. In these unprecedented times, it's never been more appropriate to use your social media to its fullest extent.

Stay safe and stay healthy!
